Mike Ehlers – Founder / President

Most recently before Ehlers Recruiting Partners, I was a partner / founder of DMK Systems a recruiting firm specializing in Sales and Technology for the financial services vertical that was founded in 1992. Prior to DMK, ran sales and marketing for ReClaim a recycling company that converted asphalt based roofing material into various paving and road repair solutions. Earlier had been a stockbroker for Raymond James in Tampa and a territory sales rep for Manhattan Shirt Company.

Graduated from Siena College with a BS in Economics. Played Football, Lacrosse and Rugby.

If you read this far, here’s a fun story - summers during college and the following fall after graduation, my brothers and I were clam diggers in the Great South Bay (a lot of Long Islanders know about clam digging).

So how did I present that on a resume? Very Creatively…I was a “Self Employed Independent Shellfish Harvester”! If I interviewed with someone NOT from L.I., they were fascinated. If they WERE from L.I., they howled and called all their clam diggin’ friends for a laugh!
